key responsibilities
  • Welcome every customer with exceptional customer service and a personalised shopping experience while sharing extensive knowledge of our product offerings
  • Initiate conversations and build relationships with customers by communicating sincerely, confidently, and enthusiastically
  • Assist with visual merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory audits, daily store opening and closing, and answering phone enquiries, when required
  • Provide feedback regarding customer buying patterns and preferences
  • Manage the Point of Sale system to process payments, refunds, and exchanges
  • Ensure the store floor is organised and kept visually appealing
  • Work closely with the team to reach key financial targets, implement in-store promotions, and increase brand awareness

    about the role
    We are looking for a well-rounded and passionate Marketing and Operations Intern to join us in growing a contemporary fashion and lifestyle brand. If you’re passionate about what we do and ready to learn, we’d love to hear from you!
    key responsibilities
    • Work with the team to create effective campaigns through a range of marketing activities (i.e. press release, promotions, EDMs, social media, digital ads, events)
    • Assist in managing r y e's social media platforms and marketing activities, including planning the marketing and social media calendar
    • Assist in weekly/monthly data and performance analysis to identify business risks and opportunities
    • Manage influencer outreach initiatives including identifying potential partners and assisting in the creation of PR kits
    • Assist in managing the operations of our e-commerce and offline retail channels
    • Assist in product listing and the fulfilment of sales orders
    • Conduct monthly stock audits to ensure accuracy of data in inventory management system
    • Propose and manage strategies for allocation of stocks across selling channels
    • Consolidate feedback from retail sales team and provide support on the sales floor (ad-hoc basis)
    who you are
    • An affable team player who takes initiative, is enthusiastic, and self-motivated
    • Customer-centric and has a keen interest in the fashion industry
    • Possesses knowledge of basic Marketing principles and has a good foundation in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a bonus
    • Prior work experience in retail/e-commerce platform/inventory management system will be advantageous

    social media content creator (intern)
    about the role
    We are looking for a well-rounded and passionate Social Media Content Creator Intern to join us in growing a contemporary fashion and lifestyle brand. If you’re passionate about what we do and ready to learn, we’d love to hear from you!
    key responsibilities
    • Participate in pitching sessions fortnightly to propose creative and compelling content ideas for various mediums and platforms
    • Conceptualise and produce content for r y e‘s social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) according to the timeline, brand guidelines, and creative briefs
    • Ensure assets are uploaded according to the timeline
    • Assist with community management on our social media platforms, including the management of re-posting of content and packaging it in a tasteful manner
    • Co-develop content calendar with our Head of Marketing for social media platforms
    • Consolidate data and track metrics across channels and campaigns for detailed analysis and recommendations
    • Conduct and present research on current trends, including engaging and effective ways for content delivery and competitor’s activities on socials
    • Manage the planning and execution of shoots from end-to-end, including logistics and scheduling
    • Provide support for marketing initiatives when needed
    who you are
    • A highly-creative storyteller who is meticulous, takes initiative, and self-motivated
    • Possesses a degree/major related to Art/Design or the equivalent; some previous design experience with clients or in a studio/agency would be a bonus
    • Able to work on various projects autonomously and communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about social media content creation, especially Instagram
    • Basic foundation in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and/or prior experience in videography/photography would be advantageous
    • A well-developed eye for balance and composition as well as a strong understanding of r y e’s branding, vision, and target audience
